SANTA CÂNDIDA MINERAL WATER LTD. has joined the “International
Program of Quality” and since then its water has been through
analysis by the NSF Laboratories, in the United States, there are more
than 140 rules of quality concerning chemical, radiological and microbiological
contaminants.
The NSF Certificate indicates that from collecting the water at its
source to the bottling of Daflora water, serves the most exigent international
rules of quality control.
Besides that, the company is commited to more than 60 recommendations
reffered to the process of production that certifies the continuous
quality of the water.
With this certificate, the company also allows an annual inspection
on the fountain, without advance notice, by the experts and the executives
of the NSF to assure that the quality program is being continuously
followed.
NSF is the world’s leader in certifying bottled water, and they
have it certified by the WHO (World Health Organization) and by the
FDA (Food and Drug Administration), the most strict organization in
the USA.
Up to the present time, among the million brands of bottled water in
the world, only 200 have the NSF certificate, and in Brazil, the number
of companies that realize the importance of the product quality, is
still very small. |
The
quality control is permanently monitored by the Laboratory of the own
fountain under the supervision of a qualified professional, registered
in the CRB (Conselho Regional de Biologia) and monthly analysis ordered
to the Adolfo Lutz Institute. It’s based on the RDC Resolution
nº 275 on 22/09/2005 (ANVISA) and it includes microbiological and physico-chemiscal
water control (pH, temperature of the water).
The water is submited to tests daily so nothing could affect the composition
and pureness of the mineral water.

There is also a rigorous control of the industrialization process –
machines, equipments, processing and storaging are checked twice a week.
The staff and the packagings are also controled regulary.
All of the packaging used for the bottling, are previously analised
and evaluated by rigorous laboratories analysis, and all supplier of
raw material is only approved with quality certificate.
Daflora and Absoluta water, in respect to the consumers provide you
with a copy of this analysis (you can ask for one). The company also
provides a personal training to its employees, following the rules of
good production according to the law nowadays.
The methods of analysis are based on the Technic Rules of CETESB (Technological
Company of Environmental Sanitation of São Paulo) and in the
20th edition of the “Standard Methods for the Examination of Water”.
Everything is done so that you acquire a produtct as pure as if it was
in its natural fountain. |
